Product Strategy Manager of PT Honda Prospect Motor Ferdianto Budiono said that sales of MPV and LCGC cars, which were popular until 2020, have recently been chased by SUVs.
Based on the data, the sales trend for MPV and LCGC cars tends to be stagnant. In contrast to the trend of car sales Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) which continues to increase. Even in 2021 to November 2022 the number of sales exceeds LCGC and MPV.
SUV cars in Indonesia consist of Small SUV, Large SUV, Medium SUV and SUV models.
Based on sales data for 2020 and January - November 2022, the SUV market segment has experienced a 92 percent increase in sales. The increase
influenced by the presence of various new small SUV models in Indonesia. Honda sees small SUVs contributing to the increase in SUV sales with 32,353 units.
PT Honda Prospect Motor answered this consumer need by globally launching the Honda WR-V Small SUV on November 2, 2022.

Low SUV All New Honda BR-V describes users who want comfort and functionality with a car with a capacity of 7 passengers.
